August 26, 2014 - Visit with Karrah in PA

Trip to Erie Zoo

Today we went to the Erie Zoo and Jillian had a blast seeing all the animals. She loves the Jungle Book so I think she loved to see all the animals in real life.

Pumba! "If your hungry for some fat and juicy meat!"

"What do Tigers dream of, when they taking a tiger snooze? Do they dream of mauling zebras or Halle Berry in her cat woman suit?..."

Tree bark anyone? FYI Giraffe tongues are looong!

We were literally a foot away from the Kangaroo's but they were just chilling unlike the wallaby's that were jumping all around.

Jillian was afraid to get to close but she did like to look at "King Louie" and the mommy and baby. Me and the the dad (pictured below) were born the same year, 1986. And Karrah and the mom were the same year, 1992 (next picture).

August 16, 2014 - Jillian's 3rd Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Jillian!!! She was so excited about her Strawberry Shortcake Birthday Party!

The table sweets! I tried so hard to get everything Green, Red and Pink! We also had hotdogs, guacamole and chips, pink lemonade, etc. available on the bar.

I wrapped the mini waters with green duct tape and put strawberry stickers on them then wrote the kids names on the back.

The Green Rock Candy and Red Liquorish was in place of goodie bags this year. I liked this idea way better!

Singing Time! We had some yard games and activities for the kids and two large tents decorated outside for more sitting room. It was nice to have them.

Jillian received lots of fun gifts! These were butterfly earrings from Great Aunt Yonny! She wears them ALL the time!

A piggy bank from her buddy Branson. She puts all her chore money in there right now and is saving up for a "Pinky Pie" My Little Pony.

It turned out to be a nice day!
